Sam Hopkins is a proven interdisciplinary thinker and project manager with a focus on innovation and full utilization of digital platforms to increase product and service awareness and drive revenue. Sam has extensive experience in online learning, including product innovation at online college course provider StraighterLine, four years of teaching as an adjunct professor in MICA’s Business of Art and Design MPS program, and deployment of successful webinar and Facebook Live series at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and specialty nutrition company VAYA Pharma.
At VAYA, Sam led the development and deployment of an e-commerce platform integrated with SalesForce and a call-center based direct sales organization he managed with specialty vendors. He directed multiple technical developers and partners and used educational email and web content and coupon promotions to generate over $500,000 in sales in the first quarter of e-commerce site operation. He was also integral in coordinating focus groups and expert advisory board sessions for new product development, including product naming and central brand messaging.
