Since 2014, KTD Creative has partnered with Dance Place, a dynamic cultural hub and center of dance activity in Washington, DC, dedicated to advancing the art form while fostering meaningful community connection. For nearly five decades, Dance Place has supported artists at every stage of their careers—providing a platform for emerging and established choreographers to develop, premiere, and tour new work.
The organization presents performances nearly every weekend, featuring local, national, and international artists across a wide spectrum of contemporary, culturally specific, and experimental dance forms. In addition to its robust performance season, Dance Place offers dance classes for adults and children in styles ranging from contemporary and ballet to tap, hip-hop, African dance, and more—making high-quality arts training accessible to the community.
Through its Arts in Education programs, Dance Place partners with schools and community organizations to provide youth with transformative arts experiences that build confidence, creativity, discipline, and collaboration skills, ensuring dance remains accessible and inclusive across the DC region.
Over the course of this long-standing partnership, KTD Creative has designed new logos, posters, season programs, postcards, merchandise, signage, street banners, and numerous additional marketing and brand initiatives. We also developed large-scale environmental graphics for the lobby wall, creating a welcoming and visually dynamic space that reflects Dance Place’s energy, history, and commitment to artistic excellence from the moment audiences enter the building.
