Ronald Hughes had spent years building people up — first training Marines and Sailors, then striking out on his own to found No Body Better Personal Training, bringing affordable, one-to-one coaching to everyday clients: triathletes, busy professionals, and parents squeezing fitness into full lives. What he had was a coach’s expertise and a clear vision.
What he didn’t have yet was a brand — no logo, no identity, no online home where a new client could find him and book that first session. He brought that vision to KTD Creative, and we built the whole thing: logo, brand identity, website copy, a Squarespace site, and the launch-day merch to put it all in motion.
Ronald had the hard part figured out. His coaching worked, his clients were loyal, and his drive was unmistakable. But a solo entrepreneur launching a business needs more than skill — he needs a brand people can recognize, trust, and find. There was no logo to anchor the business, no cohesive look to make it feel established, and no website to turn interest into booked sessions. Everything that would let No Body Better look and operate like a real, credible company still had to be created from scratch — and Ronald had no internal marketing team to create it. He needed a partner who could take his imagination and give it form.
We built the brand in the order a new venture actually needs it, starting with the mark everything else would hang from.
It began with the logo. Before a single web page existed, our Creative Director worked closely with Ronald to design the No Body Better identity — taking the time to learn who he is and what he wanted his business to stand for, then translating that into a mark that captures the energy of the training itself while staying clean enough to live on a screen, a business card, or a shirt. From there we developed the full visual language — type, color, and imagery — building a cohesive identity as approachable as Ronald’s coaching and as serious as his results.
With the brand established, we turned to the words. We wrote and edited the website copy hand in hand with Ronald — drawing his philosophy and his voice out of our conversations and shaping it into plain, motivating language on the page. Together we framed his core training pillars — strength training, pain alleviation, and fat loss and nutrition — and made the value of personalized, one-to-one coaching clear to a first-time visitor, with every line written and refined to move a reader toward a free consultation.
We chose the imagery together, too. Working side by side with Ronald, we selected and curated the photography for the site so it matched the new brand and reflected the real range of people he trains — authentic rather than generic.
Then we designed, built, and launched the website in Squarespace. We chose the platform deliberately: it gave Ronald a polished, mobile-friendly, professional presence he could grow into and manage himself, without the overhead of a fully custom build. We handled the design, structure, and content, and carried the project all the way through launch — so the site went live ready to work, with clear services, real testimonials, and a straight path to “Contact Us Today.”
Every stage of this was a genuine collaboration with a small-business owner. We sat shoulder to shoulder with Ronald on the logo, the words, the images, and the design — moving at his pace, protecting his voice, and treating his launch like it was our own. That closeness is exactly why the finished brand sounds and looks like him.
A brand isn’t finished when the website goes live; that’s when it starts working. Once No Body Better launched online, we extended the identity into the physical world with a custom T-shirt design — built from the very same logo and visual system we’d established for the brand and carried across the Squarespace site. The mark on Ronald’s chest and the mark on his homepage told one consistent story, so from day one his branding was recognizable everywhere it appeared. For a solo entrepreneur, that shirt does real work: it’s a walking billboard at the gym, a token for early clients, and a signal that No Body Better is an established brand — launching the man and his company at the very same time.
Ronald walked away with a complete, cohesive brand: a logo, a clear visual identity, professionally written web copy, a live Squarespace website built to convert, and launch-ready apparel — everything a new personal-training business needs to look credible from its very first day and to grow from there. Just as important, he gained the confidence that comes from seeing his own vision realized.
“Pound for pound, KTD Creative is 2nd to none. Their creativity and versatility allows their clients to really bring their visions alive. Personally, KTD allowed me to believe in myself and my personal training business. My logo, the communication, the ability to take my imagination and elevate it! I’m extremely blessed to have met KTD Creative!”
