When you work with KTD Creative, you will be working with a team of dedicated professionals. We listen intently to clients, perform the necessary research, and produce outstanding work. Below is generally how we work though it varies per project/per client:

Print Process

Step 1
Intro Phone Call
KTD Creative is committed to learning about you, your organization, your mission, your objectives and your goals. This phone call will let us know if we are a good fit. This call takes about a half hour and will ensure your needs can be met by our team within your budget.

Step 2
Kick-off Zoom meeting
KTD Creative is committed to learning about you, your organization, your mission, your objectives, and your goals. After the contract has been signed and deposit check received, we sit down for a Zoom discussion about your projects. Having established this understanding, we can specifically define your needs.

Step 3
Design of two concepts
Client to provide 100% of the content for the concept design phase prior to KTD Creative starting. Concepts are presented via Zoom. Logos are typically three concepts, ID Systems get two concepts (letterhead, business card, mailing label, and envelope).

Step 4
Finalize design direction once the selected concept is chosen
Client to approve by email that concept is approved. Layout to begin.

Step 5
Layout of text and images
Once client has approved all copy including any charts, tables, or other information graphics, we ask that a master Word document be provided to us. In the case of an intricate information graphic, client must provide a sketch that we can create the information graphic from. The key is receiving all materials at the same time. We do not begin any layouts until we have 100% of the content from client.

The logo design process is slightly different from the layout process with client choosing one logo concept out of three, and KTD providing 2-3 rounds of revisions to it. The revisions to the selected logo concept can be conveyed by email or phone call.

Step 6
Two rounds of revisions
The revisions are provided to client in two sets of PDFs of single-pages and spreads (left-and-right facing pages). Client to provide all changes for these two rounds of revisions in writing to KTD Creative in list form in a Word document or as notes in a PDF (not both).

The logo design process is slightly different from layout, with jpegs sent to client via email by KTD Creative.

Step 7
Print Management
Print management includes procuring three print estimates for the client, obtaining a print dummy for client review, preparing files for print and attending a local press check. KTD Creative also has a final PDF prepared for the client.
